6 Question: We have following configuration: AS2021M-T2R+ 2 x 1GB DDRII 667 ECC REG DIMM 1 x Opteron 2212 CPU 3ware 9550SX-8LP RAID card 6 x 80GB Seagate SATA (connected to 3ware card) We've encountered problem while installing Windows 2003 server with RAID level 5. During installation this error message occurs "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer" and cannot continue the installation. We've already tried the following and got the same message. a. using different RAID level (0, 1) b. connecting directing to the hdds (w/o using the backplane) c. we also tried installing centos 5.1 d. using other hdds Is there anything more we can do to troubleshoot the problem? 05/02/08
7 I just got my SuperServer 7043P-8R. I have completed installing the processors, memory and hard drives. When the Power is applied, the system BIOS displays and everything on it looks good but there is very loud alarm buzzer ON and I thought the power supply had gone bad. But all the LED’s on power supply are lit green which I believe means the Power Supply is good. Any suggestion on what may be causing the alarm trigger ON and how I can turn OFF the alarm? 03/26/04
