Supermicro's AOC-NXB-10GCX4 is a 10GbE, low profile PCI Express card with a native CX4 copper interface based on NetXen's NX2031. It is a high performance layer 2 NIC that can support offload of TCP/IP, iSCSI and RDMA protocols, significantly improving throughput of servers, server appliances and storage platforms, while reducing host CPU utilization. This allows overall system performance to scale dramatically.
The AOC-NXB-10GCX4 is a highly integrated, fully programmable Intelligent NIC device designed to offload and accelerate processing tasks. It provides the datacenter with an extremely cost effective, low latency, 10GbE solution that is ideally suited for small clusters and in-rack connectivity. |
